FREE MEDICAL CAMP ON REPUBLIC DAY AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 26th January, 2016: A free medical camp was organized at the Falakata Kadambini Tea Garden with assistance from the Falakata Gram Panchayat (no. 2) and Varosha Nursing Home. The camp was inaugurated by Falakata MLA Anil Adhikari. Among the other dignitaries were Sandhya Biswas (chairperson, Falakata Panchayat Samitee), Manna Choudhary (owner, Falakata Varosha Nursing Home), Bhanu Adhikari, Harekrishna Roy (CDPO) and Ashok Saha (social worker) along with others. Anil Adhikari said that the private hospitals and nursing homes need to come forth for help more often. He praised Varosha Nursing Home for the aids provided and urged it to organize more such camps at the locked gardens. Sandhya Biswas claimed that the government has arranged a scheme for the kids to get free heart treatment at the government hospitals. She urged everyone to reap the benefits from this scheme. Manna Choudhury declared that he would try to offer help as suggested. He also said that Varosha Nursing Home had made available four MD (medicine), Child specialist, MD (gynecologist) and a General Physician. Additionally, free medicines were also given out. He said that Varosha will always stand up for aiding the poor.
